“Diane Feinstein was not just a Senator. She was a force of nature, a tireless advocate for the people of California and the United States. In her long and memorable career, Senator Feinstein made an unforgettable mark on our nation. She was a trailblazer, a role model for countless young women who saw in her the possibility of breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings. She was a mentor and a guiding light for many. Rest in peace, Senator. Thank you for a lifetime of public service.”
