The Spring GEB meeting of the ATU started today in vibrant New Orleans, LA

The Spring GEB meeting of the ATU started today in vibrant New Orleans, LA, where officers came together to discuss the future of transit workers and strengthen our commitment to the communities we serve.

It was an inspiring and productive meeting chaired by International President John Costa, where leaders from across the U.S. and Canada shared updates, strategies, and initiatives to improve the lives of our members and ensure we’re prepared to face the challenges ahead. Today, the board heard presentations about state and federal elections and how the ATU plays an immense role in shaping the political landscape in both our countries.
We’re proud to continue advocating for the rights of transit workers and making progress on key issues that matter most. From improving safety standards to securing fair wages, we’re building a stronger union, one step at a time.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and to the city of New Orleans for being such a wonderful host!
