More than 60 Shop Stewards from across the Keystone State took part in ATU's enhanced Shop Steward training program.

This weekend in Harrisburg, PA, more than 60 Shop Stewards from across the Keystone State took part in ATU's enhanced Shop Steward training program.

International President John Costa kicked off the training via Zoom. “Our Union is taking a stand against low wages, poor benefits, and disrespect on the job. Just like the members I walked the line with at Local 1546 in Baton Rouge and Local 265 in San Jose, who are currently fighting for a fair contract, I’m proud to see that no one is crossing the line. As shop stewards, you play a crucial role in supporting your Local and our members,” Costa told the energized group. “This training is designed to prepare you for those battles.”

International Vice Presidents Gary Johnson, Sr., Raymond Greaves, and Jacques Chapman also addressed attendees.

Led by ATU International staff, the interactive training equipped Shop Stewards with essential tools to advocate for their members. Thank you to our members for attending!
