To address the growing epidemic of a violence against our members, International Executive Vice President Yvette Trujillo joined our California Locals for a zoom training to discuss the new Workplace Violence standard in California and how it applies to our members. Lead by instructors from the UC Berkeley Labor Occupational Health Program, the training covers requirements for employers to protect workers from violence and strategies and tactics for our Locals to win workplace protections.
