Day Two of the GEB spring meeting chaired by International President John Costa in New Orleans, LA

Today, at the spring GEB meeting chaired by International President John Costa, we heard from experts about critical health and safety concerns of transit workers and various legal updates concerning our union and Locals. The well-being of our members is a top priority, and we are committed to advocating for safer working conditions at every level and ensuring our members’ legal rights are protected.
We were also honored to hear special remarks from AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler, who reinforced the importance of solidarity and our collective strength. Her words inspire us to keep fighting for justice and fairness for all workers. Joining Shuler was Louisiana AFL-CIO State Federation President Louis Reine, who welcomed the GEB to his great state.

Stay tuned for more updates from this important gathering of our leaders. Together, the ATU is committed to advancing the interests of our members and uplifting the communities we serve.
