Day Two of the ATU New England Joint Conference

Day Two of the ATU New England Joint Conference was all about the members. Locals from across New England took the floor to give reports, share what’s happening on the ground, and talk honestly about the fights they’re in, from contract battles to safety issues to organizing and growth.

“This is where real union strength comes from,” said International President John Costa. “Not from a boardroom, not from a headline, but from working people speaking up, standing together, and refusing to settle for less. These reports are a reminder of the real work being done every day by transit workers who refuse to back down and be ignored. Hearing from each other, learning from each other, and standing in solidarity is how we build power across this region.”
