With the jobs of our fellow Union members who provide important services to Americans as federal civil servants, our ATU Local 689 members stood in solidarity at an AFGE “Saving the Civil Service” Rally on Capitol Hill. It was a spirited rally led by AFGE President Everett Kelley, featuring speeches by federal workers and labor, religious, and Congressional leaders. In the labor movement, we always remember that “an injury to one is an injury to all” and the importance of the public service that we and AFGE members provide.
