The ATU recently conducted our first regional Bus Operator Mentorship training at our Seattle, WA, Local 587. We trained 35 new mentors including Local 587 President/Business Agent Greg Woodfill and Local 1576-Lynwood, WA. President/Business Agent Danielle Julian.
All the mentors learned important skills to provide guidance for new our bus operators to prepare for the challenges they will face on the job. Under International President John Costa, our Union is setting the standard for workforce development programs in the transit industry. #ATUMentorships.
