Our Local 85-Pittsburgh, PA, members were proud to join U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as he announced $142 million in federal funding to boost Pittsburgh’s transportation infrastructure, busway rehabilitation, and extensions for mass transit to better serve the riders of the Steel City.
Our Local 85 Bus Operator and Army Veteran Brandon Collins had the honor to speak at the event. Also in attendance were Senator John Fetterman, Rep. DeLuzio, Rep. Lee, and Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato who thanked our members for their commitment and dedication to their community and for keeping Allegheny County moving.
