IP Costa joined Local 1637-Las Vegas, NV, members at the Raiders/Chargers game to let fans know that Silver State doesn’t value their workers.

International President John Costa was on the ground today in Las Vegas at the Raiders/Chargers game, where he and our Local 1637 members threw a yellow flag on RTC contractor Silver State Transportation for failing to give them the fair contract they deserve. The protest at Allegiant Stadium comes on the heels of our members rejecting the last contract offer from Silver State.

“We want Raiders fans to know that Silver State doesn’t value their workers,” said Costa. “Our fuelers, utility workers, and cleaners, you fought to become part of the ATU Union family over a year ago, and despite 12 intensive bargaining sessions, Silver State continues to lowball this contract. We deserve better! You have the full support of our International and our members across the U.S. and Canada. It’s time for Silver State to give you a contract that reflects the important work you do to keep Las Vegas moving.”

We will not give up until our members get what they’re fighting for, dignity and respect on the job.
